Death Blossom + meobius + Splinter waepon?
i was thinking about this when i saw a ranger using barrage + splinter weapon...
Well...sins can aoe too, why not stack it even more. I made a build that used the following skillz for PVE and AB.
splinter weapon, jagged strike, wild strike, death blossom, moebius strike, shadow refuge, shadow walk, dash
i basically kept splinter waepon up when i could and used shadow walk to get in and start my combo without running to them. if i needed to heal up i used dash to cancel shadow walk and get some distance and cast refuge. this could easily be improved but i think it has grt potential. i was dealing around 45 aoe with death blossom, and then another 45-50 aoe dmg, combine that with moebius and i was killing mobs in AB and PVE when i wasnt the one being targeted.
I was too lazy at the time to get into detail with this build but im gonna try and improve it.

Sounds interesting, an AoE assassin nuker. But you may want to consider adding a few more defensive skills and just letting a rit dump Splinter Weapon on you. He'll get more out of it than you will, and he can bring the pain via Spirit Rift, or heal you when someone gets wise and decides to put the hurting on you.

Not entirely sure, but I don't THINK it works, since the AoE from death blossom isn't actually your weapon hitting, it's just damage. If it did I would have this team:
Me with DB + Moebius
Splinter Weapon Rit
Mark of Pain + Orders Necro
Other hero with whatever can add more AoE dmg :P

The problem with your suggestions of having a rit do it is. The only rit hench is Razah. And I doubt your going to waste a hero turning it into a rit.
In PvE since you mostly work with pugs or hench getting a rit to use splinter weapon may be difficult since they normall have their own build. Generally in PvE when you want a build to do something you have to be self reliant in making it work.

i've actually wondered about using splinter weapon as well. It *looks* like it could work, but i haven't tried it (if i did that's another 500g and another 1k..ugh..)
what would your attributes look like? o.o

u missed the first sentance of what i said :P But i did a bit of research.
This works, to an extent.
The splinter weapon wont richochet off every enemy like Barrage does, since its only damage and not the weapon itself hitting enemies. BUT The splinter weapon does effective double the damage of death blossom to adjacent enemies

I've used it during 8v8 HA. 3 monks, a weapon rit, 1 db/ms, 3 sp/boa's.
I would play the db/ms, get in groups, and pressure the hell out of them, while my teambuddies would spike them 1by1.

the splinter waepon works for 4 atks and rechrages 5 seconds, each hit (wether i used an atk skill or not) will cause 51 dmg adjacently if anyone is there. throw death blossom in with that and ur hitting for almost 200 armor ignoring dmg around u (since its a dual atk enemies adjacent will take 2 splinter and and 2 death blossom hits). problem is ive got no defense in this build. but like i said...PVE and AB is about all ive used it for. i still think this would work pretty well for PVE and AB.

Yes. Yes it does. It is an attack skill.
It doesn't multiply up... but it does do a lot of AoE strikes at the same time.

The original target is the only one that splinter weapon targets. The "adjacent foes take ... damage" does not trigger splinter weapon like barrage. Using the two together does nearly double the damage to adjacent foes though.

ive been using this build for a while in pve works awsome ...i cant remember where i picked it up tho so srry if its posted be4
1. jagged strike
2. wild strike
3. death blossom
4. flashing blades
5. splinter weapon
6. nightmare weapon
7. critical eye
8. res sig or sunspear rebirth sig w/e
att's: 12 dagger, 10 channeling, 8 critical strikes

So when do you use Nightmare Weapon and when do you use Splinter Weapon? Afterall, you can only use one weapon spell at a time.

nightmare if for self healing,, or finishing off a single target. splinter is for mobs.
